As the Deal Desk Lead / Sales Operations Analyst for Cypress, you will be responsible for managing the deal desk function and supporting the Go-To-Market (GTM) team in driving, efficiency, accuracy and velocity. Your primary goal will be to ensure the successful execution of deals and optimize revenue generation while maintaining customer satisfaction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, success, finance and data, to drive deal strategy and streamline the sales process.
Responsibilities:
Deal Desk Management:
- Reviews and approves deals according to company standards for billing, contract compliance and provisioning, ensuring all deals are reviewed and finalized in a timely manner; including the management and provisioning of trials.
- Serve as the central point of contact for deal approvals, escalations, and negotiations.
- Responsible for updating and maintaining the deal desk operations for changes to pricing,GTM motions and/or new product releases.
Sales Operations
- Manage and optimize CRM data quality, pipeline hygiene, and reporting accuracy.
- Build and maintain dashboards to track performance against KPIs (pipeline coverage, conversion rates, deal cycle times, etc.).
- Support sales forecasting processes, providing insights into trends and risks.
- Analyze sales performance to identify opportunities for process improvements and revenue growth.
- Partner with GTM leadership to standardize processes, enforce policies, and scale best practices
- Partner with the GTM team on security report request and distribution of documents as needed.
Process Improvement and Optimization:
- Manage, maintain and create efficiency in our deal process by optimizing our use of CPQ and the integration with Salesforce.
- Continuously review and enhance the deal desk processes, workflows, and templates to ensure the proper chain of approvals and ensure data is being captured for reporting purposes.
Sales Enablement and Training:
- Provide guidance and training to the sales team on deal structuring, pricing methodologies, and contract negotiations.
- Provide guidance and training for sales operations processes within Salesforce for new developments and onboarding new teams.
- Be the subject matter expert for order management and provisioning and responsible for maintaining and updating process documentation.
Reporting and Analytics
- Responsible for creating reports and dashboard for ensuring deal compliance and monitoring.
- Support the GTM team with report and dashboard creation, along with any ad hoc analysis to bring insight into sales team performance, account management and sales velocity.
Qualifications:
- 2 - 5 years experience with Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Revenue Operations or related role
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with contract management, billing principles, and legal terms and conditions.
- Exceptional communication, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in Salesforce (or similar CRM). Salesforce Certifications, a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 OTE
