What​ ​we’re​ ​looking​ ​for:

We’re looking for a US Head of Sales to lead and scale a team of high performing account executives focused on mid market and enterprise accounts. This is a rare opportunity to accelerate growth in a hyper-growth, high revenue SaaS business. You’ll be responsible for crafting and executing the sales strategy to drive adoption of Sift’s machine learning powered Trust Platform across your region. Ideal candidates will embrace a consultative sales philosophy. You have prior success leading a highly technical sales team and have a passion for helping customers prove ROI with their technology investments.

What​ ​you’ll​ ​do:

  • Directly manage, lead and coach 2+ sales managers/directors, responsible for a sales org of 20+
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales bookings targets consistently. Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue numbers based on expertise in qualification
  • Manage daily and weekly activities, pipelines, forecasts, and closed deals to ensure consistent above-quota results based on successful pipeline management.
  • Coach to repeatable sales process to successfully achieve the targeted sales objectives.
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team that cultivates trusted-advisor relationships at all levels (Business and Technical), delivering against quarterly and annual customer revenue targets.
  • Create and execute the sales operating plan required for your team's success, working closely with leaders across the company (Product, Marketing, Finance).
  • Create processes to increase new logo count, while meeting revenue targets.
  • Work internally with peer sales leaders (BDR, Solutions Engineering, and AM organizations) to ensure long term customer success throughout the entire revenue journey.
  • Conduct weekly 1:1's with your team, providing tactical deal guidance, on the job training, strategic deal coaching, motivation and career development.
  • Maintain CRM data integrity for your team and provide reliable forecasts to the business.
  • Foster a team culture of “execution excellence” through urgency, transparency, data, and a high-level of collaboration

What​ ​would​ ​make​ ​you​ ​a​ ​strong​ ​fit:

  • 5+ years of cloud sales experience.
  • 10+ years of people management experience, with demonstrable examples of scaling teams while achieving sales effectiveness.
  • Outstanding track record of consistently meeting/exceeding sales quotas personally and as a Sales leader.
  • Have played a key role in scaling a sales team beyond $200M in ARR
  • A strong leader with the ability to work cross-functionally within a diverse workforce
  • Skilled at building a cohesive team and facilitating goal accomplishment by aligning individual and team actions with strategies and plans to drive business results.
  • Driven, revenue-oriented individual who can energize others and influence their actions by setting ambitious goals and overcoming challenges by thinking in a creative manner while motivating others through those challenges
  • Experience with Command of the Sale, MEDDPICC and Value Selling
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Act as an executive sponsor in a customer-facing capacity
  • You are analytical and detail oriented. You are comfortable making data-driven decisions.
  • You are a tech-savvy "people" person who learns fast and thinks on your feet.
  • You love working with real customers, listening to them and solving their problems.

The anticipated starting on-target salary range for this role is $300,000-$400,000. This role may also be eligible for equity and other benefits. Sift takes into account many factors in determining compensation, including level, location, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Therefore, the pay range / final offer may change or be modified in the future.
