Senior Revenue Accountant

Sift is looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant who is ready to leverage their knowledge and experience to make a big impact. We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of revenue operations with ASC 606 compliance, billing, revenue variance analysis, and driving special projects. To fit the bill, you also need to be flexible, adaptable, and a big fan of change...we're a startup, after all – it's all part of the fun!

What you'll do:
Perform AR and revenue related reconciliation for month-end closing.
Work with FP&A through month-end variance and trend analysis.
Review contracts to ensure compliance with ASC 606 and company policies.
Collaborate with Sales Operations/Deal Desk on process improvements and resolving contract/revenue issues.
Help build the process for new customers credit check
Drive streamlining and process improvement on revenue contract review, credit memos process, and month-end reconciliations.
Assist with technical memos and documentation of processes and controls.
Contribute to projects for driving the company's growth.
What would make you a strong fit:
BA/BS degree Accounting or Finance
3+ years of public accounting and/or SaaS revenue accounting experience
Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, M3ter, and other financial and billing systems including proficiency in MS Excel
Ability to manage month-end closing and various projects simultaneously
Results-oriented approach in driving process improvements and resolving issues
Strong communication skills within team and across departments
Initiative in learning both technical accounting concepts and business operations
